Agness Mhina is a passionate Marine Conservation steward with a strong background in marine conservation projects, aquaculture ventures, blue carbon initiatives, and fisheries value chain analysis. Holding a bachelor’s degree in aquatic sciences and Fisheries from the University of Dar es Salaam, she has successfully led various projects focused on sustainability and conservation, working closely with coastal communities reliant on fisheries. Her dedication to environmental stewardship and interest in addressing contemporary ecological challenges have equipped her with proven leadership abilities. Committed to making a significant impact in marine ecosystem conservation, Agness is ready to contribute her expertise in her new role as a Project Coordinator for the Ten Million Mangrove project at Blue Carbon Tanzania.
