Yusufu Kasato is an experienced professional in impact-driven communications, creative design and scientific research.  He’s a Food Processing and Safety master’s student at Zhejiang Ocean University in China. His research focuses on reducing the undesirable environmental impact due to post-harvest loss of aquatic foods and products through innovative preserving and improving quality techniques. Also, He is a fellow at Nature, Environment & Wildlife Filmmakers (NEWF) of South Africa and served as a Graphic design consultant for the Kilwa district octopus fishery electronic Catch Documentation and Traceability (eCDT)  strategy that pioneers the improvement of social, ecological and economic benefits to Tanzania fisheries.  Yusufu aspires for durable healthy food access to the local communities from sustainably managed ecosystems through collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
